These RAFM Historicals Charlie Co. Marines have been a lot of fun to paint up. They are full of detail and character and they have the right sort of kit for the game I'm playing at the moment.

There are a few not-RAFM in this mix: an East Riding Platoon 20 recoilless rifle, one Esci M-79 and and two Corpsmen that were part of our group-build commission over at the Fields of Fire Reloaded.

The Charlie Co. blisters are well put together and let you work from paper-strength squads with the proper numbers of JNCO's and other officers. Building a platoon is a breeze.

Have to learn not to let the merciless camera get so close....

Wow, never knew these existed. I'm somewhat mystified about my ignorance bcause I have the Charlie Company rule set, which, by the the way is an excellent modern set. Many thanks.
Wait until Jim Hale sees these.

Thanks for the kind words gents. These have been a lot of fun to play with, especially using old-school fire team tactics built around the squad automatic rifleman. 8)
There are a lot of great minis out there for this period, but only RAFM have USMC with pre M-16 kit. Even the Pegasus '1965' set has about half of the figures armed with M-16's...
Now if only someone was making a 20mm mini with a M-14a1 in that classic double-fisted full-auto pose!

Said three times into a mirror and here I am... :D
Good work there Mr P! I've been looking for something similar, but without the flak jackets and baggy jungle fatigues... however beggars can't be choosers and I'm pleased that they package them with some thought. :)
