Be lucky.

........Oh and as for the rules. They're coming along very nice. You're gonna be looking at rules for car chases, Police interviews, Court, and even Power cuts!!!!!!!
Players can enter a fantasy world where criminals actually go to prison and go for a long time.
There's no community service in Geezers!"Shut it!" :x

Great looking models, I'm really looking forward to this one.
Are you going to do some uniform Plods to go with The Sweeny?
-
Uh, I almost forgot the awful Vokuhila-hairstyle of the 70ies...
-
Thanks Revford,
Uniform are on their way. Cops in caps and cops in helmets. Somewhere along the line there will also be Police marksmen, for bank seiges (or rampaging American werewolves.)
British style figures will be covered first with a release of American characters later.
-
You cant do this, I have just started my 1920s-30s cops and robbers having abandoned my Zombie survivalists and various gangs and criminals etc and now you bring these guys out :o
I hope there is a Get Carter looky likey :D , the first Geordie miniatures EVER
-
Great looking figures. You have got to love the 70's :)
-
Hmmm. Get Carter? Check out where Killer B Games is located on the Miniatures Page. :)
There is going to be a cockney hit man in coat with shotgun.
Remember........Carter wasn't a Geordie. He came up North looking for a ruck!
-
Awesome! When are these up for sale!!
This opens up a whole new setting for games.
-
These figures will be released early-mid August.

Very True Cap`n but I think it is one of his best Hard man roles and a Michael Caine would be awesome.
-
Hm... not sure about whose a Geordie and who isn't (afaik it depends on who you ask - a Sunderlander or a Newcastler), but Carter was born in Newcastle...
One of the best tough crime movies ever, but now I have to think about point blank (another real good one with a vengeance story) and Lee Marvin as a miniature...
-
Dont get me started Polioraketes on what constitutes a Geordie :D

"You're a big man, but you're in bad shape"
-
The other good one
Jack Carter, naked, pointing a shotgun
Con McCarty: Come on Jack, put it away. You know you're not going to use it.
-
A geordie in the truest sense is someone born within spitting distance of the Tyne river. Those from Sunderland are known as Mackems.
As regards Jack Carter, he wasn't born in Newcastle he was a cockney who came up North to get revenge for his brother's murder.
I'm pretty sure it didn't say in the film he was originally from the area? :?:
Anyway. Imagine trying to model the Gateshead multi-storey car park
-
Good grief, will you stop tempting us with your shiney new toys! :D
-
Its a Michael Caine figure that would be great :) especially with those specs 8)
-
Hah, finally released the pics!
I especially like the faces, there are some real strong Sweeney influences there.
I'll have to get cracking on that unmarked Flying Squad van ( aka Ford transit Mk1)
Have you sorted out the hat yet Craig?
Regards

I hope to get the feel of this w/ the American release:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=izCMnl-o1Ng
I'll keep my fingers crossed!
-
Ah yes, the American release, stay tuned folks as although the British version is written, the style and content are not as easy to translate to the American streets as effectively as I originally hoped.
Its not just a case of changing slang words, the whole text is written in a particularly British way.
The U.S. rules will be coming however. By the end of the year!!!!!!!
That's a promise from Captain Gamma, and I can't lie as a Proton Ranger never lies! :)
Now to watch all of my 1970s cop shows and movies again. :freak:
-
Just gimme the models, and you can tinker w/ the rules until bell-bottoms are in again! (Or are they? :? )
-
Good lord, the hair! THE HAIR! :o
*runs screaming trying to hide from the horror*
Seriously stylish minis. Very 70s.
-
I picked up a book at the weekend "Horses Arse" a good fun read but if you dont like bad language or are PC certainly not for you very crude but also funny and ideal for Geezer each Chapter a scenario

Good spot re:the book Lowtardog!!!!!!
I went straight out and bought it.
As regards the Geezer miniatures I have just sent a batch of new designs to the sculptor. These include:
2 U.S. Detectives
cockney hitman (with North East connections)
3 Uniformed Police officers
3 Generic blagger types
I think you will like them.
-
Captain,
I hope we will see a certain pair of pistol totting CI5 lads and their cantankerous boss? Perhaps with a glass of single Malt in his hand?
Can't wait for the miniaturers and the game.
-
These figures sound great
The book has some seriously stereotypical coppers
The brothers Grimm
Bovril
Pizza
The Blister etc

Hmmm CI5? Never heard of it.
