As opposed to my Carpark Filler..... 8)
All home made using nothing but sheet styrene and various kit parts from my 1 cubic metre sized bit box.
First 4
(http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j17/wayswatcher/20mm%20WW2/Geheimproject%2051/BFWheelthing.jpg)
A big case with a wheel that turns and does....something. Wheel is from a 1/35 Wanne kit.
A big case with switches.....switches from a HO Signal Tower Interior
(http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j17/wayswatcher/20mm%20WW2/Geheimproject%2051/BFFusethingie.jpg)
A big case with...I dunno. It has lights and switches.
Yeah, sorry. Couldn't resist myself.
All of them are painted on all sides, some even have a little detailing on the side or rear. This way I can topple them etc to suit the surroundings. Decals from various sources. Double coat of varnish.
Currently done: 4
Currently PIP: 2 of the same sized cases plus a long 8cm wallhugger.
Currently WIP: 4 of various sizes
Watch for updates!

Some great pieces there. I absolutely love the painted rust effect  How did you achieve that? :o

Those are awesome! I love stuff like this, it adds so much to the gaming table! And the rust is great too ;)

Thank you.
@Overlord, u found my tutorial helpfull? Don't mind my reaction to your mention of rust, sometimes I feel people only notice my rust and banged up things instead of the whole stuff :) Then again, I really do like making destroyed stuff so thats my own fault
Building a few more 8 cm blocks at the moment, and moving away from flat blocks to more shaped ones, with a bit more 3-D in em. Good thing I can see it in my head and cut it straight to plastic instead of making drawings first as usual.
I'm really enjoying these

Great filler. I particularly like the control cabinet with the levers, and the large arrow for the wheel.
"Nein, you Dunderhead! Mit der Arrow! Aaaarrgh!"
How'd you do the rust? :D
-
Hey, I like all of the pieces. Adds nice atmosphere to any scenario I bet.
btw, did someone already ask about the rust??
Just kidding, read the tutorial already but haven't tried it out yet.
keep it up, your stuff is excellent!

I didnt take offence at all. I should have paid more attention to your original post on rust! NB I did say they were great pieces before I mentioned the rust!

Complaining is my best motivator, as I have been nagging myself for the slow progress.
Finished the turbine generators:
They look like this:
And on occasion like this:
And a parts list for the ones who don't believe making these cost me about 0 cents....
Cap of a Fruit2Day bottles from Modhail, 1:24 scale wheel rim of a wrecked and badly assembled US truck I got for free with the load of CPU fans i recently bought, coverplate is a Warhammer small shield and the pointy thing on top I have no idea, but it comes from the same 1:24 kit.
Think of hydro electric generators usually found in dams for a reference.

More great items Johan 8) . You will need the whole of Organisation Todt to keep up with their bunker building at the rate you are completing the contents.
Excellent use of scrap/bits box. The secret is to make it difficult for anyone to identify the original parts.
(And I didnt even mention rust! )

cool stuff ,I ike all these good Ideas

The doc wasn't available tonite so I just used 2 stand ins for size. Its a big thing with dials and stuff and propably does something really really important. 8cm wide so it fits a basic 10cm bunker block.

Coffee maker, particle accellerator, who knows. Magazine is a bonus, and the one that can guess the hidden message or dare I say Easter Egg gets a cookie.

And here we go again, with another fresh batch...
First, a group shot.
Then, from left to right.
I have no idea.
Box with GW Cadian Heavy Weapons bit attached to it.
Lots of dials and knobs and whatnots.
Consoles from a 1/32 Dornier bomber.
A cooling thing of sorts perhaps? Or a really expensive 8 track holder
Vent is from the rear deck of a 1/35 Leopard IIRC, knobs and levers from the 1/32 Dornier kit.
It has a rear side too.
Decal from my decalbox of holding.
Scope or magnifier.
A dashboard from a 1/35 Humvee, an armoured plate from a 1/35 Alligator and a air intake thing for a 1/24 car kit.
Another switch box. (highlight faded a bit cause of the varnish)
HO Signals kit
And just to keep you on your toes, here is a sneak peek at some PIP's....
The 1 million dollar gumball machine and door number 1,2 and 3!
And finally, some statistics.
Done: 14
PIP: 2
WIP: 15
Slowly but steadily....
Enjoy the pics gents.

More fun looking mad science gizmo boxes, the bunker lab is going to look great when it's all together.
-
Amazing stuff. These will give tons of atmosphere to your bunker when you're all done. They're just the things you need to give it a real weird science feel!
I won't even ask about the rust. If I do, Herr Doktor will pull the lever and incinerate me in my seat, I'm sure.
-
Oh yeah, and get some of those guys to clean up that rust! That's no way to run a lab!

Cat's Paw, as in the old Star Trek episode?
-
The Cat's Paw magazine either refers to the Cat's Paw magazine (http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20050502235202/fallout/images/4/41/CAT.gif) from Fallout 1, 2 and Tactics in red, or the real Cat's Paw rubber heels (http://www.fallout3.phx.pl/obrazki/nowiny/cats_paw.jpg) that Fallout's magazine is a direct copy of.
I love all the doodads, switches and decals on these bits. A healthy lot of greebles there.

And I love the threadomancy ;)
