Title: Silent Death Space Ships
Post by: Muskie on September 14, 2010, 06:10:39 AM
Little known fact, I've painted close to 200 Silent Death scale space ships.  This game was really popular in Ottawa due to the Ottawa Red Shirts gaming and playtesting group.  I put a few old photos onto Flickr including these two "Salamander" two person fighters.  I painted them in the GW Salamander Spacemarine Chapter colors.  I only did single color flames due to the scale.

They weren't particularly hard to paint and were cheap plastic models that came in the plastic box set.  I found painting these little ships pretty fun and pretty easy.  Something different and old to post to this board I suppose:

Yeah man. Da Redshirts are a rocking group of gents from what i remember.
These do look good. Love the flame job. The Salamander, though never my cup of tea, is a nice rounded ship. Not as nice as the Dart though. :-)

There is some more Silent Death space ship pictures and bunch of my older work in this gallery I put up oh in about 2002.  It has my first ever 28mm miniatures Space Orks, you got a box of 17 or something.  I actually just bought the one I painted first on eBay, well a duplicate, unpainted which I will give a go when it gets here...
