Just thought you might like a look at a WIP I've done this week. He'll have a Caribbean flavour to him when finished.

Bill,
:o :o Nice work there, just curious, how big will this guy be? Will he be in the 25mm range or 28mm range?? Too bad this guy isn't done yet, it would be nice to see him in LotHS. Keep up the grat work...

Beautiful work Bill  or should that be Bootstrap

Very nice. I finally got to see some of your work in person (a friend purchased some Saxons at Historicon). They are every bit as good in person!
-
Nice work Bill :)

:o Excellent work here! :o

Fantastic Bill! What a great piece.

That is excellent Bill  . I want one (and so does my Mrs Overlord!)
It makes my efforts look a bit sad  http://forum.backofbeyond.de/viewtopic.php?t=1959
That said, it was your sculpting article on the pirate you did for the Steve Dean forum that inspired me to have a go.

Glad it helped, and good work on the figure. Nice face on him. 8)

Its fantastic!

Yep, nice one Bill. Can tell you've been in the forces, as you know just how kit hangs off a fellow - or sits on him :)
I'm also full of admiration for your bold, buccaneering disregard for the lickspittle copyright attorneys retained by the Empire of The Mouse... Bring 'em on, eh? (Good luck with that! )
So, that's two pirates now... Planning a range?
Don't forget The Second Afghan War - it got my vote on your blog! (And I think you'd find a lot of takers here on Lead Adventure... )

Cool! That figure REALLY fills a gap in the market! Great work Bill!
-
Beautiful figure

An excellent rendering of Captain Jack... It really has a likeness. You think there will be a problem with IP though? I am just curious because I have done some figs that are similarly based on concepts from movies :)
:o Fantastic fig though man, keep posting! :o

Very nice, what scale is it? Jo:)
-
About 29mm foot to eye.
-
Cool should fit in with most things then, a bit smaller than ours but not significantly and a bit bigger than some, I like different height figures personally (as long as it is not to drastic of course!) as people vary in height. Good luck with him.
Jo:)

Thanks Jo. I've still not forgotten our chat at Devises. I'm just getting rid of some work at the moment so I'll give you a call in a week or two. :)
-
Bill that is a fantastic figure and I must have it. :) Hopefully you will have copies for sale at some point.
It would be perfect figure to go against this one.
