I thought these would make cool modern British Zombie Hunters.
They are a WIP by Hasslfree miniatures and look like characters from a certain British film.....

If it wasn't for all the weapons I'd buy these in a heartbeat, especially PC Sam Ford.
The film was fun though.

AHHHHHHHHHHH :o
The riot trooper is so cool looks like he come from ``28 days later ``

Yeah I can't wait for these to be released. I am apparently slowly building an entire police force and swat team it seems from Foundry and Hasslefree. But you can never have enough fodder for the undead...err I mean you can never have enough heroes.

I love these, and to add there is even a sound track CD for sale from the film. Music to bash zombies to

These guys are just stunning - the sculpting is just inspirational!

Hasslefree is the only but very strong reason why I would venture into the realm of zombie gaming. Great minis!

I really like PC Nick, but that shotgun looks particularly big. Maybe its the angle of the photos?
-
Pappa, how are your zombie rules going? Are they finished?

I've been a little tied up with other projects recently and intend to knuckle down to the rules over the next few months.
As it stands:
The Core Rules including Turn Sequence ,Movement and combat are completed. Zombie Deployment, movement, combat and spawning is completed.
I'm still working on Vehicle rules, Character generation and equipment/pick-up lists.
So far I've done about 45 pages which doesn't include pictures, fluff or examples.
As soon as I've got something I think is usable I'll post some Beta rules to play around with.

I think I can state that I am not the only one looking forward to your rules. :)

Please keep us informed, I am keen to try them. Are they similar in style to any other games?
TT.

Any ideas for a name of the game?

These figs have been released recently! They do look pretty good, and having recently seen hot fuxx again, I am very tempted to get them...
Officer Nick (http://www.hasslefreeminiatures.co.uk/pack.php?pack=948)
PC Sam Ford (http://www.hasslefreeminiatures.co.uk/pack.php?pack=949)
Very nice figs. Hasslefree is a great vendor!

TT: With the multitude of skirmish level games available there are bound to be some similarities to other games but this is a "stand alone" game , not a re-hash off of another ruleset.
Their are a few elements which i'm pretty pleased with, the combat being one and the ability to play yourself as a survivor. The game is character driven with emphasis on individuals rather than large squads.............that's all I'm willing to divulge at the moment.....
LTD: As it is meant to be the start of a larger rule set I was going to use "The Cadaver County Chronicles" as the main title with "The Zed files" as a subtitle. I intend to use the core rules for all sorts of Horror based skirmishing aswell as near future and other time scales.

I'm intrigued - you seem to have most of my interests covered in one ruleset! Keep us informed as to progress :)
