Here is todays project for the forum. its not done, but should be close tomorrow. I'm going to do a bit more work tonight on it, which should be the scenery and perhaps the temple entrance. so tomorrow I can pour the water and getethe waterfall done. Granted the start is sort of boring, but I think it is nice to see it from start to completion.

The results you get with your screwdriver and finger method is amazing. I will definately copy this idea.

This is a great tutorial, and has given me lots of ideas (too many ideas!) for what I'd like to do on my next board.

Rich, I'll fix it in the tutorial, but at the point you see up to, its roughly 2 hours with working, photos, slight modifications and making the webpage.
Currently I am hitting my 3rd hour, which includes the genreal scenery bulk out, the waterfall, the tomb entrance and the drybrushing of the mountain. I'll post another update tonight once I get the water poured for the river.
then after that, its scenery cleanup and then to start work on the tomb inteslf. I still have no idea what I am going to do in there yet.....any ideas?

The water came out really goood except for the section by the cave. One of the ripples looks like a scratch, so I will do something tricky there, perhaps a bridge. I also like it because the area by the waterfall is rougher than the rest of the water.
I should have this wrapped up by this evening (Hopefully)

I guess we could throw LeFreys tavern in the mix as well. I just need to order the pieces so I can finish it, but it will be ready for Fall-In.

These really are fantastic tutorials. Thanks especially for the water tutorial, which is something I need to attempt in the very near future.
Don't worry about Rich stealing it. By the time he shows up, I'll have put it somewhere safe. Like my basement. :lol:
Between this, Castle Black Moor, and LeFrey's Tavern, I think I'll let you handle the Fall In scenery and just think up a scenario where they can be used!

Easy....
The adventure starts at Lefreys Tavern, where they meet a mysterious stranger who gives them a map to where the secret passage way is through the mountain. Bad guy runs off board, while his minions fight the intrepid adventurers.
** Fight happens here **
Next scene, The "pulp" board. Chasing the bad guy into the valley, they encounter more minions. They must fight there way through the board, and get to the entrance in the mountain base

Next scene, entering "Black Moor" keep, through the basement (i.e. cell block). Fighting off the minions to get to the master bedroom chamber where the damsel in distress, and "really" bad guy happen to be.

There you go, a quick and dirty scenario that leads you through all 3 boards.
Well.... I think I now know what I need to do to the temple area :)

I jsut had an additional thought on the scenario. If the adventurers dont get to find the "stranger" who gives him the secret way into the keep, they have to fight their way in the fornt door, which will be much harder.
And if all else fails you can "flip" the "pulp" board and have the bad guy leave the keep and wind up there top a waitng horse fo the get away.
So depending on what the characters do, it can work either way.
