very nice! :o

Very nice. I like your attention to details like the wave pattern on the swords’ blades 8)

Can I say "very nice" too? lol
They are beautifully done, though. I love the chap in the Hellboy mask :-*

Thanks Guys! The horned one is also my favorite. I hope Werner Klocke will do some more asian themed stuff for Reaper.

They are wonderful, specially the middle one o_o How did you paint the blades?

the wave pattern on the swords’ blades
The proper term is "hamon" ;)

First I painted the blades gunmetal metal. then I washed them with blue shade. I panted the patterns with mithril silver and highlighted the edges with the same colour. All colours are from Vallejo.

I use Vallejo Steel and Silver and even if I mix it with gray you can barely see any highlighting, specially in photographs :( I love the blue glare on those swords.

They look great. I have always wanted to paint up some Samurai and these are just what I would hope mine would turn out like.
Thanks for posting them.

I know your problem. Inks and washes are very helpful. Thinned down black ink allways helps to define metal parts. Brown ink for rust effects. For magical glares blue, green etc...

Absolutely gorgeous!
