I know I've been waiting all month for this, and it's going slow. lol
Saw the preview the other day on AMC, where the dude is in back of a van or armored car, and the zombie turns and looks at him. Cool stuff, can't wait.
-
I think it starts in the UK on November the 5th.Looking forward to it too. There is a Zombie program on next Friday on the Discovery channel I think.
-
Just saw it today (there's a pre-air doing the rounds) and it's great. Very gory, just like the comics. The initial scene (not for the squimish - it involves a child) sets the tone for a very adult series. I just hope the tv station doesn't get cold feet and cancels it when the usual suspects start saying it's "too violent for tv". >:(

Yeah, i think it was a tank. When he comes into town on horse and gets surrounded near a Nat Guard tank. They are all around him, he gets de-horsed and starts crawling under the tank. He gets up on top and gets inside for safety from the horde only to find he wasnt alone inside. Pretty sweet scene on the preview. :-)

It's a tank, he enters by the escape hatch on the bottom of the tank.

--- At least they decay faster in our humid climate. Slows them down even more. Make's it easier to run from and evade them. Rule #1 - Cardio!

Been waiting for this series for a long time. The 1st episode is out there on the web, and I was floored by how good it was.
I see we have a number of Atlanteans on LAF - what's the miniatures scene like in the ATL area?
-
I can't wait to see it.
-
You're going to have to ask Doomsdave about the Atlanta area. I'm living in Augusta... about 2.5 hours away. But I'd like to know the answer to that question too. :)
I love the song "The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine (Anymore)" towards the end of the trailer. Kind of sets it all off for me somehow.

I think I'm going to have to collect some songs for background music for my AR:SE games! That one is going on the list for sure!!
Any other suggestions for Zed music?

--- lol lol lol Those guys don't cut it for me. They sing like their... er... nards... are clamped in a vise. lol lol lol
While I may like the ones you listed I've always thought lyrics kind of down graded the mood... but that's not always the case. Maybe music that sort of stands out from the Zombie genre, songs you would never associate with it, but work well.
How about "Requiem for a dream - Clint Mansell" and/or 28 Days Later's "In the House" by John Murphy, or even "I Drove All Night" by Roy Orbison? Playing near below hearing level in the background? Ummm...

"O Death" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dx-2sTzYric)
"O Death" by Jen Titus, which they used in Supernatural ads last year.
"Let It Be" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z4bib4PBqGA)
Also, the cover of "Let It Be" from Across the Universe would totally work.
