Looks Good!

Uh,oh that is nice . Just built two of your LRDG Chevs, lovely they are :),looks like I'll be buying some more......... ;)
-
Arrrgh! Just bought another two trucks and some stowage :D What next..........?
-
Might be the issue of a based mini next to unbased vehicle or maybe its the camera angle but the Garford and Austin both look a bit on the small side to my eyes. Your mileage may differ.
Otherwise, lovely looking models.

Scale is about right. Mr. Sutton is just well fed. I would not want to be in a armored vehicle with him, as he looks as if he'd take up all the space..his body guard is a little more normal.
I should add, both figures painted by Steve Dean. Credit where credit is due...

Fair enough. I'll have to hide my credit card now.

Just ordered two!
This year has been great for WWI/RCW armored cars. Thanks to all mfrs!

A really beautifull model. :-* :-* :-*
Is it the Chinese Year of the Armoured Car or did I miss something? ;D
Darrell.

Absolutely brilliant! :) I like lots.

>>Is it the Chinese Year of the Armoured Car or did I miss something?
Seems like it...
I started the Austins two years ago >:( and they sort of languished in a "started" state for about a year and a half. I saw the Garford released by Copplestone and the one for Black Army, and decided to get these two out the door, starting from scratch. The spoked wheels always put me off, but since these were done in a computer, it made it much easier to finish.
My goal over the next year is to build out a kit in Google sketch up, and have the master 3D printed. For now though, everything except the wheels is old school plastic card.
I have a hankering for doing another armored car... not sure which one though. Maybe something the british used in China. I also have a 1916 civilian touring version of model T in the que. That one will be interesting, as instead of 1/56, I'm going for 1/52 ish, so that you can fit a full sized set of passengers. I want it to be compatible with the rest of our line, but it really needs to be able to carry some heroic sized 28's. More on that later ;)

I thought you already produced a Crossley and various Rolls Royce? I suppose you could get really finicky and say yes but not an India pattern Rolls Royce, but I doubt many punters would recognise the difference beween it and your Crossley. The Crossley 6 wheeler is an option but they hardly saw any service.
Why not turn your considerable talents to making some bits and bobs that did see service Like a MkII Light Tank ( India Pattern) or a Soviet MS-1? If you are really hankering to do an armoured car why not do something French, like a Laffly or a White? There's a dearth of French equipment in this scale and plenty of conflicts with suitable miniatures ranges to use them in.

>>India pattern Rolls Royce
Actually, you are correct in that we do have all the pieces. This is already done and in the casting que. Not sure on a drop date though. Ditto with the MkII Light Tank ( India Pattern). Master is enroute of the MKII. It's based on a MKII vickers. I just need to construct a Indian Pattern Turret.
Something French may be interesting to tackle. I'll need to dig in and do some research.

How about a Russo-Balt type D armored car for Petrograd? Like in the Osprey. There were four in
Petrograd during the Revolution then the Reds took them over.
-
Second the Russo-Balt.
-
Love em!
-
Like a MkII Light Tank ( India Pattern)
Yes, please! (I am using a Mk VIb as a substitution).
-
I should be getting a batch of them on Saturday - can't wait!
