Army Standard bearer.
The army is almost done... A couple more regiments, some warmachines and characters and blamo, 2500 point human force for Kings of War... Then it's on to my undead!
Thanks

Awesome army! It's nice to see it come together after tracking the progress in other threads. Are all the minis from GW?
-
Not my thing, but beautifully painted and based, very nice.

Thanks guys for the positive feedback!
All of the figs are indeed GW; they're just so cheap and easy to find (old ones anyway, which all of the above are) that I couldn't avoid them :) Actually, that standard bearer is a Reaper miniature by Sandra Garity, other than her though, they are all GW.
Thanks,
n.

Very, very nicely painted. I love the freehand on the shields.

love it, as all your other works! ^^
maybe the best inspiring site, together with agis' and some others

Beatiful work and I really like your backdrops!

Thanks for the kind words guys! I've finished up a few cannons, some characters, as well as a unit of pistoliers for my human Kings of War army. The army is ready for the field, but I will likely add some Empire knights and Halberdiers as well as some Bretonnian Levy later on!

I'm pretty happy with how it turned out so far! I'll post pictures later when I get around to the other units... which likely won't be until March :)

wow! i'm a fan of your site so... wow! lol
just one question: did you use part of new boxes or did you find the minis you needed on evilbay or similar?

Thanks for the feedback, greatly appreciated! Glad you like the site as well!
As for the figures, I actually have a large number of buddies with droves of unpainted figures who've reached the point where they will just give away things to friends if they have a plan for a project; I got these Empire figs from a buddy who had the old 6th (or what is 5th ed that had the empire and orks?) edition box set figures who decided he would never get to them... I actually turned down some as well, because I would never get around to painting them ;)
I did end up getting a few from eBay as well though: the pistoliers (which are from the new range), some knights, halberdiers and peasant levy figs. Only the mounted pistoliers are painted at this point though!.
Thanks

Some great work here. At first I was wondering why you only painted half the archers' eyes... ;)

This project just gets better and better. Your website is a real inspiration.
