I am one of the few & the proud - the wargaming(*) ladies, and I've yet to see a sane day. :D
Seeing as how I've already lost count on how many different wargaming/tabletop gaming forums I've already registered on, I figured I might as well make my presence known in this fine establishment. One can never have enough back-up plans after all... ;)
Expect me to sneak about this place, looking for whatever piques my interest at that precise moment after which I will proceed to release the hounds/serve tea/brag/complain/pack up and proceed on a adventure/pistol-whip someone/have a intellectual conversation/something else somehow relevant. Combinations of those are also possible.
I believe that includes all relevant warnings and whatnot!

* = also includes, but certainly is not limited to: modelling & painting & converting, as well as plotting and setting up dioramas bordering on lunacy.

I do believe you'll fit in just fine. Consult Hammers regarding the hounds, I guess. (search for "kennel club" here on LAF to see what I mean!)

As a matter of fact, I do have loads of painted things to display, although I'll be the first one to admit they are nowhere near the awesome paintjobs I've seen here. :D
I just have to get my camera back from my sister and then figure out how to actually transfer the images from the camera to my computer... I swear that camera has more buttons than my computer and I think it actually cost more too. ::)
In short - it might take a while but once it starts, I'll propably be rolling out hundreds of pictures! ;D
Last but not least, thanks again for the welcomes. ;)

Ahh I have played s few games with "wargaming women" over the years and always enjoyed it. They bring a completly different feel to the game and put the boys on their best behavior! Wecome to you! If you hail from the west coast (us) give us a shout and will invite you to a game!
