I was lucky enough to do a bit of business with a mad Harry that goes by the name of Baker the Blade. He rustled me up some top geezers and I thought you might like a butcher's.
Very nice.

The picture of the boys in blue is a bit blurry as they were staring at me and I got a bit windy. What a carry on.
Anyway, be lucky.

These look great! Loads of character in them
-
Great stuff Gamma
-
Out of sight! :)

Always wanting more, but are there any British police in helmets too ?
Perhaps just head variants of the flat caps ?
Any Peewees ? (WPCs)
-
There will be helmet head variants for these Police, also the S.P.G. will all be in helmets.
We'll see how well this first release does.
I would also envisage some uniformed Police characters such as a fat slobby one, a psycho a probationer etc.

WARNING!!!!! 1970'S PASTICHE ZONE DON'T ENTER IF OFFENDED
WPC'S? Do me a favour! Women? in the police? You'll want women politicians next!!!!!!!!
*************************************************************
Yeah there will be WPC's in the range.
-
But if you don't have peewees who does the filing ?
-
haha, those figures are spot on!
-
More excellent sculpts there!
They have really captured the feel of the era. I especially like the guy with the beard and the one with the bald head and long hair at the back.
PM
-
Excellent, looking forward to these. :)
-
You just gotta have WPCs! After all, who else would make the Rosy Lee & fetch the fish 'n' chips?
And before anyone gets PC, my wife's a WPC...
Lovely figures - I've already got plans to use them for my Dr Who games. They would be ideal for anti-Dalek resistance fighters, The Master's hypnotised goons etc.
What rules would people use for tv-style "Cops and Robbers games"? I'm tempted to use "Chain Reaction 2" from "2 Hours Wargames" Good quick play rules, with useful "solo-friendly" mechanisms, but I'm open to any suggestions.
Cheers,
Ian
[just off to polish the Jag & get the sawn-off shotgun sorted...]

Then might I suggest the upcoming Geezers! "Shut it!" rules available soon. From Killer B Games. Featuring rules for car chases,Police interviews, Briefs, Court and Bent coppers.
"'Ave it!"
Does this count as sock puppetting? You all know Captain Gamma is the Guv'nor of Killer B Games.
-
And on the subject of WPCs: The Americanised version of Geezers"Shut it!" will probably feature more females than the British version. Perhaps 3 little girls who went to some sort of a Police learning establishment etc.

No need for subtitles for our American cousins. They will have their own version: MEAN CITY using American terminology.
I just need to watch some more of my TV boxed sets for relevant jargon.
And of course I'm reading The Choirboys for extra 1970's gritty inspiration.
Captain Gamma promised that MEAN CITY would be out in time for Christmas and you can hold him to that.......... :?
-
I need Baretta, Kojak, Foxy Brown and Shaft please. Several folks w/ enormous afros would also be welcome, on both sides of the law.
oooh, and Serpico!
I'm excited abt this. Buying up cars left and right.
Can you dig it?! (The entire cast of "The Warriors" would also hit the spot, but that is an epic project...)
-
Ooh the Warriors, now that would be good :D
"Warriorssss, come out to playyyaaa"
-
Giant afros are part of the planned 3rd release. As are hippy type cops and funky soul brothers.
AND since I received a particular DVD boxed set as a work leaving present I intend to include 2 police agents (Curly and Bovril) together with their grumpy gaelic boss in the 3rd release.
Now I'm wanting a good selection of shirt and tie types to allow for detectives or crime boss henchmen.
Are you all ok with more of this type of figure? I don't want to bore you. :)
-
Yeah sure tall short fat thin for a bit of variety would be good.
-
Keep them coming as far as I'm concerned!
-
Release dates for any of this lot yet? Mostly minis, but I may be tempted into getting the rules too.
-
The miniatures should be released early to mid October if not sooner.
The British rules probably around the same time.(Hopefully)
The U.S. rules Christmas.
