Nice AT-ATs Michi - I look forward to seeing how your thread develops.

Those are the wotc ones ?  Are they attached to the bases they come with, and if so, are they easy to remove?

They are WOTC and the come attached to bases which are easily removable by turning some screws off (1 for ech foot). They stand perfectly on an even surface without the bases.

Michi, I guess the Dewbacks are Action Fleet ones. Do you have Wotc miniatures and could you take a comparison photo please ?

Otherwise could you measure the Dewback from "nose" to tail and also tell me how tall it is without the rider (at the saddle) ? Thanks

I might consider buying some as the WOTC Dewbacks are expensive.

I'm exagerating a little, it's not thát bad, but I did find them fiddly to clean up.

Blisters smisters I've opened about twenty over the last three weeks, if they get painted and played with then no issue, if they remain in a drawer then shame on you!  :D

I think this kit is perfect for WEG miniatures but on the small side for Wotc ones.

Might even be a bit low for them too, I'd lengthen the support pistons on the ramp and the landing gear, only by say 3-4mm, would be spot on for my stuff then.

Lovely finish though, looks movie quality with those long shots.

Though burning the fuel whilst on the ground? That's a lot of diesel to waste Han. ;)

soory PJ Michi.

Out of interest, how are you representing snow on your table - paint, or "snow" flock?

Am looking for a way to cover a table in snow, that doesn't involve icing sugar, or something similar, that will either attract ants/wasps, or turn yellow with age....

 lol

A dumb question for a total noob.....who makes these figures?

They look wonderful!

Cheers,

Plain snow will be mimicked by a white painted surface. Marble or plaster dust can give it some structure if applied when wet.

.....who makes these figures?

Luke on his Tauntaun is an Action Fleet repaint that came in a box with a snow speeder. The other figures are made by West End Games (though OOP meawhile).

Coving adhesive, thinned to a paste is what I've used on the bases and intend to use of the table.

Nice paints Michi as ever, just a little too bright for me if I'm being honest.

Are the AT AT, and AT ST's plastic? I wish that someone would bring out Star Wars mini's in the GW way I would totally buy a Stormtrooper army. By GW way I mean a fairly large company with good plastic mini's.

I have one of these to build up.  Did you undercoat and repaint them before weathering or did you weather the bear plastics?  Any tips would help.  Thanks

Yes, thereīs always a chance, because I still have some unpainted WEG SW models in my lead pile. The really important question is WHEN? Too many miniatures, too many projects, too little time...  ::)

Yes, you may dare. There is still plenty to paint...

Are you planning on basing them?

Definitely not, I never do. My modern buildings have sidewalks, but that too is no real basing, I guess.

Does the text on the side of building read: Stormtroopers go home? ;)

No, but I remember that it does mean something. If you have Aurebesh lore you can translate it...  ;)
