I saw a post somewhere, can't remember where now and my search-fu is failing me, but it mentioned upcoming figs from Old Glory in the 15mm range for Gothic Horror. Anybody know anything about this?
Thanks!

The last time I was out at Old Glory (last month) Russ mentioned the planned line. He intends it to be pretty comprehensive. He mentioned buildings for London and a "Draculsa's Castle" as well. I have no idea on the timeline though.
-
That might even mix in with the new 1930s 15mm http://khurasanminiatures.tripod.com/little-carinthia.html (someof it anyway like monsters etc)... heres hoping

Thanks, Aaron! That's what I seem to recall seeing as well. Dracula's Castle and a Transylvanian Village. Can't wait! ;D
-
thebinman, Russ mentioned doing a 15mm "Streets of Chicago" gangster line also. IIRC that would include vehicles and buildings also. Should work well for Cthulu-esque stuff.

Fortunately, I demonstrate my excitement somewhat differently.
Assuming the appropriate females, that is... lol
I've just started dabbling into 15mm Martians, and you drop this on me? ;->=

Blue Moon with a new 15mm Darkest Africa and Horror range would make me dance in my underwear!
That is such good news!
hear that, 28mm! We, (15mm) the one true scale, are coming after you in another new genre!
-
Yes, Darkest Africa, Gothic Horror, and Gangsters are all pretty much a solid bet for later this year, beginning of 2012. I think they'll come in that order too.
OG/Blue Moon just needs to finish their ACW and NAP ranges before beginning these new ones.
Look for the Gothic Horror to be a "shot for shot" re-make of the old 28mm West Wind line. Which to me is a very good thing!

Yes. Those would pretty much provide the template for the Blue Moon stuff.

Thanks, for info I have made a new thread linking to here to highlight this most interesting development!

any news/pics yet on this?

Soon, very soon. The greens are at OG now and more are arriving daily. I have not got a look at them in person, but knowing the principles, I think they're going to look great!

As soon as I can lay hands on some masters or pre-release figures, I will paint a few up and post them (Russ permitting, of course).

Not to steal Scott's thunder, but I went with him out to Old Glory yesterday and we got to see some of the new stuff. There were some very nice masters of vampires, witches, and all of the staples of any good horror game in addition to lots of natives, porters and other assorted darkest Africa characters. I also saw what looked to be a fairly complete "Romanian" village and a promising start to a "Streets of London" range with a pair of nice tenemant / row house sections with shop fronts, garages, and a pass through alleyway. It looks like it will be a great summer for 15mm gamers.

15mm - as I have recently discovered can be as misleading as 28mm ::)
Love to know actual size? :)
-
The "true" size is more like 18mm. I think Scott snagged some of the horror stuff to paint up, so I imagine he'll be posting photos soonish. I grabbed some of the F&I stuff myself, but I imagine he'll beat me to the picture punch.

Sounds like the same size as Demonworld "15mm" Small - but bags of detail that can actually be painted. Might get some of when they are out. :)
-
They are more like 18mm. Gobs of detail and character. I have all of the monsters, but no hunters yet. They'll scale better with some lines than others.
I'll try to get a few painted and unpainted pics on my blog tomorrow. And they're cast on small molded base, so they'll be easy to base as you please.

They posted some pictures over on TMP just now: http://theminiaturespage.com/news/516818/ (http://theminiaturespage.com/news/516818/)

You have to love these;

The London buildings I saw were even nicer IMO.
