Title: Suggestion to manufacturers
Post by: Conquistador on February 12, 2011, 05:24:01 PM
In this (and others, honestly,) era I would like to encourage the model manufacturers to make both mounted and unmounted figures for non-grunt or "townie" characters.  I have some sets so I know it is done by some makers.  And yes, some will argue that many/most games start "on foot" and stay there.  But there are so many good "foot" figures I have that I would like to have mounted versions for but "no joy."

I really like the Zorro Presidials, the Old Glory bought Cowboy Wars ones, and the Cuban Guerrillas from the SAW era that give the player options/decisions.  There are others (Dixon has a few I think) but so many don't.

Perhaps there are financial realities that make some hesitate but please consider it where possible.

Gracias,

Glenn
