Nick, what building is that in the background, behind the fence, scratchbuild?
-
Those bay windows look like they are from the Mordheim building sprue. I could be mistaken, though.
-
I agree, the windows look like Mordheim plastics and the door looks like a metal Citadel piece from their Arcane Architecture range.

Great work on both teams BTW!

Yes, scratchbuilt and Zafarelli and Kurgan you are correct, well spotted :) the windows are plastic Mordheim spares I acquired as are the gargoyles. The door is a Citadel metal piece. The gate is a cut down piece of fence from the Westwind graveyard set.
The whole building is a mausoleum with a small courtyard to the front. The basic design is foamcore with Polyfilla rendering. It has a pitched removeable roof made with individual tiles cut from thin plastic sheet. There is internal detailing with a tiled floor.
The Prof has a photo of the interior, he might post it somewhere so you can see more of it. If you want to see a photo of the whole model let me know :)

The Hellfire gent to the far right, isn't that the Right Honorable Mr Malamute himself? I am sure it is. I recognize him from the soiree Lady Cholmondly threw past Saturday.

No Sir, certainly not Sir  That will be Mr Malamute's disreputable younger brother Sir Sidney Rough-Diamond. The nefarious black sheep of the family.
Mr malamute was at home last saturday in the company of the delectable Mrs Malamute. :)
The honourbale Mr Malamute was previosuly seen leading the Whitechapel Wanderers in the first round of painting competition sporting a rather fetching white moustache, goatee beard and stylish black and brown fir coat..... 8)

Who makes/sells the center figure in the Hellfire Club?
-
He is a Westwind Gothic Horror figure from the pack Victorian gentlemen either listed under Jack the Ripper or Dr Jeykll and Mr Hyde sets.He makes a great villain :(

"Ah we meet again Sir Sidney! Give my regards to Queen Euston."
I take it the photograph is taken some time after Sir Sidney's stint in the Indian diplomatic service.

Mr Malamute, sir, are you a reading man? If so I think you would find this book by Mr Mark Gatiss a good read:

The protagonist, a Lucifer Box, a quite depraved character, is a secret agent and a particular favorite of the Queen herself, GodBlessHerGraciousRein.

Thank you kind Sir, I have just checked it out on Amazon and ordered a copy :) ... I like the idea of depraved
-
I've just read the second Lucifer Box novel - The Devil In Amber - and in my humble op, it's a sight better than the first one, and a lot more Gothic - which means I think you'd like it even more, Mamalute!
-
Hi Malamute,
I think there will be no change in the result and therefor I will send you my congratulations. Good luck further on and happy painting !
Cheers mate.
