Title: Colour Photos of Egypt in the 1920s
Post by: Wirelizard on February 21, 2011, 07:56:24 AM
1920s Egypt in Colour Photos (http://www.howtobearetronaut.com/2011/02/egypt-1920s-in-colour/)

The Retronaut site doesn't seem to have a "for further information" link, just that the pictures were shot for National Geographic magazine. All sorts of striking images, I especially like the street scenes and the fellucas on the Nile.

Very useful, especially as I'm planning my next big project in Egypt.

Great find. I never come across stuff like this on the internet!

I'm currently painting some 1930 arabs for a pulp Egypt setting, so very helpful.
