Last saturday I browsed through all your pictures. Very nice stuff though I think they would look better without the old bases still showing. It's not very obvious though so I guess this is fine 8)

The banner is an old bit from the Nurgle Planguin model.  Which I have, but I also acquired 2 or 3 of the banners from GW bitz when you could get them at Grand Tournaments.

I too wonder if I should have went further with sand or putty, but I didn't want to obscure the model's feet as they were already fully painted.  Same reason I didn't want to bust off or cut off the existing bases.  They look better and I think on the table no one will notice it much.

I should take more pictures of old models, especially in squad poses, as all my figs are gaming models...  I gotta paint my Lead Painter League entries still, but thanks for looking at these, a lot of work went into these 11 models...
