Evening all,
Can anyone recommend (with pictures would be brilliant ;)) any 25/28mm peasants suitable for a generic high medieval Europe? My Googling has returned a definite paucity of nicely sculpted peasants, especially as I'd like them to be either unarmed, or with staves/pitchforks/woodsman axes etc.
Thanks in advance.

old glory :?

Foundry do quite a few packs, with the usual caveats about price, P&P and possible retirement of the ranges applied:

I paint some minis from Foundry and old glory.
You can see here the result :

Thanks, gents. I think :? is right for the OG peasants (although you've done a good job on them, poulppy).
The Foundry ones look like they'd fit the bill but you're quite right, JollyBob - it works out at £20 for eight figures with p&p. Shame.
Anyone else got suggestions? Or foundry peasants you'd like to offload?

Do you think about the reapers townfolks series ?

I did consider Reaper but, while nicely sculpted, are a bit too Ren Faire for me. They look like people playing at being 'a bit medieval', rather than being historical.

Black Tree do a few in the HYW range

They also have a few packs in their Viking range who are mostly unarmed (including children) but these may be a bit early for you - though you might get away with it...

Oh-ho! We may have a winner! Mind you, like most gamers in the world it seems, I still have part of an order 'following soon' from BTD :? (Which reminds me, I'd better nag them again)
