I am looking for monsters to do battle with, non-bipedal types, who makes the best? What kinds have you found? Also where are some good looking animals?
Pictures and links would be welcome.

Heh, this post made me think about whether there's a not-Chuck Norris mini. Couldn't find one when googling, but googling for Chuck is like googling for porn. The sheer amount of hits on Chuck Norris is ridiculous... or would be, if he wasn't so awesome.
Oops... that's off topic. Sorry!
Monsters? There are plenty... a bit too general a question really. Do you mean stuff like hydras, chimeras and wyverns - or something smaller?

There is a Chuck Norris mini, 4 in fact in the Golgo Island range. He's called Action Man or something like that, I have considered buying the set but I only want the cowboy lol>.

Ah, indeed there is - had forgotten about that. Cheers!

Otherworld for wolves! Wonderful critters!

I am looking for the bigger kind of monsters, hydras, manticores, griffins, elementals etc.
Not the humanoid size/types. Trolls and ogre types are ok though!
I own that Chuck mini!

Reaper's new Jabberwock looks pretty fun. I'm tempted to get it, though I have no obvious use for it.. not a reason not to get it, just a reason for delay ;D

I want to build a 15mm fantasy army.. I can just imagine how fearsome this would be for 15mm scale :o
Reaper has a lot of great monsters in general. Rafm has a lot of unusual monsters, in their Cthulu range

Now that is a good one! I wonder how tall it is? I have looked at the reaper line and from what I have been told they have several out of print models that I just need to get lucky to find so if you know of any keep them coming.
There has to be more of you with opinions than this, I might just have to start sneaking into to your houses and steal them from you! :)

I'm afraid I can't help that much with recommendations, but I'm also after a Hydra with 8+ heads, so here's hoping you manage to find some good critters to fight.

Of late I've been really wanting some nice high quality models of the more regal monsters.
Griffons, pegasi, dragons that don't look like worms with limbs...
To be honest I've had a terrible time finding things that suit my tastes exactly but there are a lot of nice sculpts out there so hopefully you aren't as much of a picky bastard as I am.

http://www.ultraforgeminiatures.com/ (http://www.ultraforgeminiatures.com/) are a company who fitted what I wanted at least with their Tree Woman.

Okay she's kinda bipedal so not what you are wanting but her legs/feet are kinda merged with the earth, and she is a stunning sculpt.

Those are great and right in line with what I am looking for! Does anyone have any of those banelegion models they woul be willing to take some scale pictures with? I knew some of you would have some good sites. Any others?

If you go to the page I linked before, then click on the model name or wee picture on the left it'll take you to the models own site.
Then if you scroll down there will be the models picture gallery, which for each has 1 picture under the heading "scale."
Slight mistake on their part thay don't actually say how big Brunchaath the Vile, the model they have next to the beast, is on those pictures.
I did a little digging in their Banelord info though and turns out he is 32mm to his eyes, so a 28 to 30mm model is gonna be around his shoulder or a little smaller, and probably far less bulky.
Suffice to say the beasts are BIG.
