Very nice entry and that "little detail" of the yellow king 's base fitting in the drawing on the stage is very good!
-
Nice!
-
James, how big was the pot of yellow you used up painting all this?!
It must have been delivered by truckloads!
;D
-
I really like the base and the way it matches on the yellow main character.
-
King in Yellow... fantastic!
-
What a beautiful matchup... gorgeous Western Civilians, and all that yeller! Good entries, both.

I love the King entry, yellow is one of those colours I just can`t get done decently
-
Both these entries are very nice! I love the colour in the first entry, it really glows and the bases fit in so perfectly with the surroundings! The little buildings on the second photo are very characterful and the painting on the models is great as well, in this entry though the different bases detract a bit from a unified look. Of course, basing is always a tricky business 8)

very innovative, like it a lot!

How shall I put this?
I don't get the King in Yellow. What's the theme? Is the title a reference to something in particular?

Wow - even the backdrop on the King in yellow piece is amazing. Bothe entries are wonderful - so many great minis out there!
-
As another person who has trouble with yellow (I have yet to buy a yellow paint that isn't unsatisfactory...) the King in Yellow entry is stunning. Great collection of civilians about to be driven insane!
The western civvies look great together, just a pity there's some focus issues with the photograph. I'd love to see some photos of the buildings after this round is over, too - what we can see in the background looks good.
-
Who makes the kings minions? Great job on both entries btw!
