Title: 1/48 scale diecast helicopter spotted in Asda for £4!
Post by: Gundamentalist 5.56 on October 01, 2007, 07:01:01 PM
Asda are selling diecast 1/48 scale Eurocopter EC135 in a variety of finishes.

Its definitely 1/48 because I measured it in shop with a borrowed ruler and then came home and went to the Eurocopter website for dimensions.

The EC 135 looks like this:

I'm thinking about getting one, if you're overseas and want one PM me quick - I take PayPal and will be happy to get you one for cost+postage+PayPal fee.

Baltimore uses an EC120 as the city police helo. Not that anyone cares, but it's a nifty helo regardless.

I got a nice 1/48 bin lorry from Asda a while back. Surprising what you can find. Hot wheels motorbikes are roughly 1/48 to.

So that's a little of $8 US.  How much do you think it would cost to ship?

Don't know about the helicopter, but the bin lorry as quite heavy and the motorbikes are quite light. Isn't Hot Wheels an American company?
