Very nice looking... I like the purple and reds, look nice together...
-
Lovely!! :o
I've got a team of them I'm planning for the LPL, so I'm afraid I can't show you them yet.
The only teeny tiny thing you could do would be to use a darker colour at the pointy end of the gems, then a small dot of pure White for reflection as opposed to the coloured dot. I tend to find it makes it that slightly more realistic/shiney looking.
-
@andym: Which gems are you talking about; all of them?
Thnx for the advice
-
The ones on the knee pad are the ones that struck me most. It would just make them stand out from the rest of the armour. A wee touch of gloss varnish on the gems once you've finished also helps for realism.
But honestly if you left it how it is, it's still brilliant!!!

a WIP shot of the base
It's going to be a desert theme with (red) purple candles
Much like these (http://griffitscorner.blogspot.com/2010/10/blood-angel-objective-counters.html) but with other colour of candle ofcourse.
C&c welcome

The terminator looks great.
Is it possible to add some scratches / damage / dirt?
In my opinion traces of wear and tear add to the overall impression.
-
Looks good, I so wanted to buy a copy of Space Hulk when it came out for my son and I to play but the wife would have killed me (and understandably so) for spending $100 on a board game lol.
-
Fantastic!
I bought SPace Hulk when they re-released it...but I've only painted 1 lil Marine (and he's not really done yet) :-[

Very nice paintwork! :)

Heh, I bought an original Space Hulk back in 1990 I guess.
My last genestealer got painted 2 years ago...

That's 18 years of fun for just 30 bucks or something like that :D
about the battle damage; it brings a lot more character, but I don't feel confident enough for the job :?

Concerning terminators I'd rather see technical bases (the whole space hulk thing, you know), but there's definitly nothing wrong with this base.
very nice job. ;D
