Title: Higher contrast colours?
Post by: Agent Brown on March 15, 2011, 09:25:20 AM
Hi
I've got a real problem reading the posts on this forum due to the choice of colours used, black text on dark green/khaki background. My eyesight isn't perfect but with glasses it's fine for pretty much everything except reading posts here. Is there any reason such a low contrast combination was chosen? Is there any way way of altering the colours used?
It's a shame as the quality of the posts here is excellent, but due to the difficulty I have reading them I often give up. I haven't seen anyone lese mention this so maybe it's just me.

Turns out it is me. I've been diagnosed with cataracts in both eyes after 10 months of being misdiagnosed by eye specialists. Hopefully after my op LAF will be a bit less of a strain.

Good luck on your procedure, it will be nice to look at LAF in a new light!

Hope the Op goes well and you get back to reading posts ASAP

Now if everyone followed Rabbitz example I wouldn't need the operation.
Never mind. The surgeon has said that he will try and have the new lenses he is popping in  match the prescription for my spectacles so I won't need them for the first time in 40 years. Every cloud etc.
