Fantastic work again Frank!
-
ThoseMahdia re amazing
-
Now that's my favourite entry since now, Frank 8)
-
What does the banner say?! ::)
:D
-
The Madhi are an excellent paint job, for me possibly the best entry of this round, the banner is gorgeous
-
The Mahdi are superb :)
-
Nothing to say. The Madhist are really stunning.
I must find some way to manipulate my pictures to make them seem better painted
or bribe the judge for a better match up. :)
-
Preliminary rounds are pretty much totally random.
What happens... luck of the draw.
-
It is just a pleasure to be beaten by this piece.:)
Frank-Just a question. Are you painting all your miniatures like this
or only when participating in LPL?
-
Wonderful work on the Mahdists - I especially like the horses. It pains me point out (sorry!) that you've got the banner mounted the wrong way up however: the Arabic writing is upside down...
Great work on both entries though.

Yes, I know!!! :-[ I saw it 5 minutes after I have finshed the flag...nobody is perfect ;)...by the way, we made a bet how long it would take that somebody find out what is wrong with the flag :D

If you translate the flag, it actually says 'If you can read this, you're too close'! ;)
-
I love the reds on the first entry, and the background is great - nicely done!
-
Franck, second entry as fantastic as the first.
I'll look forward your next one ;D
-
@ugsome, is the woman standing on a plinth? at the back a Mage Knight conversion?
-
Breathtaking pic Frank :-*
-
The girl with the goblet is actually standing on the back of the old GW Cauldron(not a conversion).
The girl with the knife is supposed to hover, so she have a flight stand.

"...and upside down!" =)

It's the woman with the knife I meant.
-
It was a simple clear plastic rod that came with the miniature from Ral Partha.

She's the old Ral Partha Crucible Infernal Elf Spoiler, if that's your question (still available from Ral Partha Europe).
-
Thank Heldrak for being able to read and answer the question. :)
-
No problem Ug' ;)
I hope you know it broke my Druchii heart to vote against Dark Elves of any kind... :'(

Sort of, she's very much like a Mage Knight figure and I was about to compliment ugsome on his conversion skills, as well as his painting skills. This is the figure I thought it was.

No problem. I wouldn't vote for myself.:)
When it comes to converting that is way beyond my skills.
-
FRANK,
You've done it again.
How do you do each new offering better than the last?
Is there no upper limit to your talents?
:D You are disghusting! :D

The whole bunch looks like MK figs, but those were, (for the most part) Ral Partha figs anyway wern'they?

That would explain the similarity.
