 :-* Invader...where are your figures from?  I've been looking for some F&I War era sailors for a while now...

Both great entries!

Thanks Blue. :)

These are conversions, mostly derived from AWI Eureka ragged artillery and Perry ropemen (though the running figure is derived from a freebie Warlord Games Napoleonic rifleman with arms from a Wargames factory zombie!).  Mostly, it was greenstuff to lengthen the waistcoats and add the slops of which there are WIP images at this thread here:

Great conversions on the crew Silent Invader! I like those Van Saar painted as Vault Dwellers as well, excellent choice of models!

I'm so sorry Groove51, but I've got to do this: my Fallout credentials demand it! No reflection on your painting credentials, I just like to get my story on :)

The Vault-Tec company build 122 vaults across the country as part of the US government's Project Safehouse (of course, it was actually a front for the Enclave's test project to test the viability of enclosed communities built after a disaster/relocation to another planet). If you were aiming for an unknown vault that you can fill in story for, the possibilities include: Vault 6 (Washington), 24 (unknown), 27 (unknown), 34 and 39 (unknown, and Texas), 100 (unknown)

There are about 5 other non-numbered vaults designated control/surveillance centres, mainly used by the Enclave to moniter the experiment.
Vault 34 might have been a good one to do, as they were given large quantities of weapons and ordinance which was then locked away from them (naturally, they killed the Overseer and nicked the stuff).

I apologise massively for this, it is quite possibly the most pathetic and petty grievance I've ever engaged in, but I coudn't resist :P

Nice models, by the way ;)

@Rufus
My sincerest apologies. I should have checked. :D The only reason I've chosen 171 is because they're easy numbers to paint. lol I'll change them after the LPL is over.

@Parriah
Figures are Necromunda Van Saar. :)
