Black Scorpion just released some new Undead Pirates along with some Elven Pirate. Personally, I love all their miniatures, they are great and fit my taste. The new undeads are most welcome, and the elves will be purchased to bolster my other pirate gangs, or to create their own one day. Some of them can absolutely be used as "normal" human pirates/privateers.
Check them here! (http://www.blackscorpionminiatures.com/index.php)

Cheers Galland :) Some nice new minis there, the civilian femmes are excellent.

Hurray! I've been waiting ages for those Elf Pirates...!

Very nice figures. I couldn't help but notice that the rules on the same page are written by Gav Thorpe. Have all of GW's old guard/talented employees been going elsewhere? Sorry to hijack the thread, just a thought that came to mind.

Hehe, hence we will pre-order the rules for Cutlass! as soon as they are available. We where thinking the same over here. Most of us are old enough to have been playing GW games since the 80s, and with that in mind, also old enough to have left for other games. However, I am looking forward to this game, especially since Legends of the High Seas really was not what we where looking for. It will be interesting to see these rules, and if nothing else, they will be a nice addition or support for other rules system. I suppse that we will get at least one working system out of all the ones we have been buying in the past few weeks.

They do look nice, and I am delighted to have piratical elves at last.

Yeah they look awsome, elvish in their statue but not too soft and golden bow if you understand what I mean.

Actually, you are more right than you might know. There will be made a limited edition resin miniature for the release.

I trust you'll notify us when released. :D

Well, I am not sure that you can trust me to do it, but if I do remember I will ;-)

Elf Pirates arrived from Black Scorpion today. They make a pretty good scale match with the smattering of Elf Pirates available from Reaper height-wise, but their proportions are more realistic (the heads and hands on the Reaper figures seem large in comparison). We'll see how the two lines look together when based and painted.

I like those as well, very nice models, and will go will with Mordheim and the like as well.

I must admit their Pirate models are fabulous. I just wish they would do a Chinese crew. :( I have a Junk that I would like to crew.
