A rematch of spaceships!

Indeed, and quite a tough one too I might add. Seeing these paired off against one another really forced me to take a good look at each entry again. The first one has some models out of focus, more variety in the models, some bases that don't entirely fit in with the rest but on the other hand it also has some very nice markings on the ships. The second entry has equally good painting, nice work on the canopies, a bit neater bases but less variety in the overall look of the entry. In the end I did the "which models would I rather have in my cupboard" test and team blue won because of a nicer model selection. It may sound unfair I guess but if it's any consolation, it was really close!

Yeah, sorry about the poor focus - I'm using a rather expensive digital SLR that I'm not entirely adept with, find it hard to spread focus properly. I tried to add the right pics for those that were out of focus, sorry if it's still unlcear :/
I had an entry in God's Own all lined up for this week, but work got in the way, didn't have time to get them done!
Nice orange chaps by the way :)

It's getting kind of embarrassing that I haven't finished a new entry for LPL 5. I have been painting, but I've just not been able to focus, and I've just not been putting in every possible hour... I won't go into details but if you want to see yet more Silent Death spaceships, here is one I painted and gave away on Friday at Trumpeter Salute. Perhaps I should have gone with the lave scheme on these fellows too, though it would have took at least twice as long, maybe longer...

Very nice, you'd probably beat my shoddy blue 'uns if you'd put them in (lucky for me :P). Looks time consuming :D
