Title: DIY Sister of Battle Prototypes
Post by: frontal assault on April 08, 2011, 02:15:16 PM
Hi

I'm working on a Witchunters army for 40k besides starting on my Anglican league army for VBCW.  Anyway I can't get hold of the metal Sisters models and I don't really fancy using the same seven over and over so I thought I'd try making my own.  Here are the two I've done so far.

A Veteran Sister Superior with Powerweapon:

And a normal sister with boltgun:

Cool idea.  Have you seen the Valkyr of Micropanzer?  He scales them at 32mm.  I don't know how that compares to the SoB.

An interesting take on the Sisters of Battle!

I have many of the older, metal figures. They do repeat a fair bit. I have heard that a plastic version of the sisters will be out at some stage, but I don't know how accurate those rumours are.
