The girls are gangers from the Shadowforge sci-fi range, the enforcer robot is a scratchbuild that I cast in resin a few times.

Dr. Mathias, I love that ED-209 model!  :-* and scratch built too?!  :o
Frank, I really like the setting of your entry. The water, canoe and the log cabin really sell the theme here.
This is a tough choice, both are so well done.

Ooh... very tough! That frontier scene is beautiful, you can really hear the running river and the birds chirping. But then again, you can also hear heavy stomping and an angry robot voice...

In the end I had to go for the ED-209.

Oooh, two awesome entries! When I saw the title I really thought "Ah, it couldn't be an ED-209, there's no model of it!" and there it was!

I figured Frank didn't really need my vote so I gave it to the good Dr.. But Frank, don't be mad, that scene is really something very very special, as are all your scenes :).

Congratulations on your win Frank, there's no surprise here. With all due respect to the other LPL participants, I don't think there was an entry this round that could have stood up to the quality of painting, composition, narrative, and photographic skill present in your submission. My only regret is all those lost vote points, how I shall miss them!

Both entries are fantastic with lots of drama and great painting.  Nice job you two!
