They are great, Mancha! Conversions, right? I think I recognize at least one Brigade merchant sailor.

The rocket shoes (or perhaps it's clogs?) are great, also like how Tin Tin looks like he was in erasure.

Okay, I am a great Tintin fan, but... these are the best miniatures I have seen here in a long time! :D

Thanks for the positive feedback re the Tintin group.  I've been building this group little by little over about six months, and they're sort of a pride and joy, so I hope you'll forgive me if I wax poetic about them just a bit.  Tintin is an RAFM mini, generously supplied by the Professor himself (thanks Prof), whose condition was that he see it painted.  I hope he's satisfied.   :)  He looks somewhat more grim than the cartoon illustration, but you know, these hard times in which we live!  I love the comparison to Erasure.

The Twins are conversions of Brigade mobsters with BAR guns.  I wanted Lewis guns, of course, but figures in suits were hard to come by.  It turns out that sculpting bowlers is more difficult than you might think.

The Captain is a minor conversion of a Brigade sailor.  I suspect this particular mini has been converted into Haddock before.  At the Professor's core is another Brigade sailor, but there's so much green stuff over that core that about all of the sailor you can see is the general outline.

Thantsants: I love the story in your picture, as well as your nice contrasting colors with the green skin.  Great stuff.

Cheers Mancha - I reckon you deserve to win on your greenstuff skills alone - let alone the paintjobs!

Top work sir!

Now where did I put all my old Tintin books...  :D

Painting stuff is hard enough, customising or converting stuff deserves an extra pat on the back
well done both

One is hoping that this is the kind of stuff which puts a LPL contestant at the top. Great stuff, Mancha.
