Erm, I vacillated between calling the entry "The Phantom" and "The Ghost Who Walks", and evidently in the brainfart moment that I composed the email to Captain Blood, mistakenly combined the two into "The Phantom That Walks".  Duh.

Nice entry, Ugsome.  You’ve done some good stuff with somber, English-gentry colors.  I especially like the vest on the center guy.

Yes they are thrilling tales. Very nice models, but the mould lines were a bit annoying.

For once I am very pleased with the result. Both painting and the picture.
It really doesn't help though when up against my boyhood favourite, the Phantom.:)

I liked the black and white comic best, but I am willing to change my opinion as your painting of him (and the pygmies)
are really good. Way better than in the comic books.

I plugged this into iGoogle's translator and came up with the following: 

"Spot are brutal guy just like strut pints!"    :D

Actually, I have a pretty good idea of what this means, although I don't recognize the word puntal.
