Anybody knows where this guy comes from? I've been searching for a while and thought that I would put it out there.

Eureka's "Pax Limpopo" range. It's their not-Flashy.

Ah, Wellyn Shaftsbury, the Queen's favorite, God Bless Her Glorious Reign.

They have several versions of this gent, incliding this one...

 ...which goes with Ophelia Phondelwell...

Are you sure of that, Pete, Hammers? It's completely different to the Wellyn Shaftsbury holding a glass that I have.

Mine looks like this:

Have they re-done it or something, perhaps?

Ah yes, I lost a part of the post. I was going to say the same.

I guess, it's a Chiltern one, they have some Flashman minis but no pics online

There are pics on the Chiltern site, but none of them match our fellow.

Thanks for doing all of the research guys. I will just have to try and get my hands on him. I have the "current" Shaftsbury models, but this guy  has an extra special flashy quality to him.

Gadzooks! I've never seen those Chiltern figures before.
That Flashy in poshteen and turban is definitely going to join my NW Frontier collection! Thanks.

Don't you think they look a bit oddly-proportioned?

I love Flashy, but can't say I care for those figures overly.

The Chiltern figures are probably sculpted by Martin Baker. He's not a Copplestone nor an Owen, but he's got his own thing going.

I like the fellow with the cricket kit and the sword, and will probably use him as Polynikes in a game. Especially if Poly thinks he's odd looking.

Some of them are fine, I like the style, it's just that some seem to have tiny legs (or big heads, I'm not sure which). Unfortunately the cricketer from Flashman's Lady is one of these.

It's nice enough, though. I would probably put my misgivings aside and use it, despite what I said before.

These were new to me. A bit sub par, though. Disproportionate, somehow. Messrs Easytocast.

I've been admiring them for a while now, but have held off buying them. I much prefer the Eureka homage to the character.

The Chiltern figures are very large too  :(

I do, however, like the look of their Sharpe and Harper miniatures:

Maybe the Flashmans look better with a coat of paint on them.

Yes, I'd thought about using them, but they are far too large for me to put with my 28's. The heads _are_ big - bigger than I remember from seeing them at first hand!

I happily use Black Tree, Foundry, Copplestone, OG and even the odd Redoubt  together, but these are just too large. I know Flashy was a big chap, but......  :(

Yep. I do agree, they are nicely detailed but a bit odd in the anatomy and posture departments. But I think the version in the poshteen is passable enough...
