Looks like those peace talks have briken down Doomhippie. A very nice entry. good luck.

Thanks Rob,

at least the possibility of talks remains - unlike with your zombies, who look rather untrustworthy. Nice idea with the bases there. I tend to only use one kind of base with any miniature I paint so even the lady in high heels seems to prefer gras and rubble.

Two very nice entries and quite evenly matched in quality (not in votes). I like the basing on the zombies and their paintjob is very effective as well, but I'm afraid Doomhippie's entry wins my vote as it has a little bit more colour and a little more atmosphere in the setting. Good job both!

lol  Yeah, I share that problem.  I've been using this contest to try some different things with my bases, which pretty much means doing what I always do, but painting it a different color and maybe not putting down the grass...

I really like the cartoony feel of the zombies.  I like my zombies more cartoonified rather than realistic (maybe I'm just distancing myself from the subject matter?) so these are how I would paint mine if I ever do end up painting zombies.
