Good luck Arcturus. Thats a cracking looking scene!
-
Thanks AndyM. Good luck to you, too. Great paintjob on these Predators. Your scenery is also very nice.
-
Wow Any, I love what you've done with those predators! And the scenery is awesome, and the cotton wool mist is very convincing! A very great entry and wonderful way to end the LPL5. The LOTR scene though is also fantastic! Lots of well painted models and great looking scenery, Well done both!
-
wooo...extremely tough choice here... >:(...I hate having to vote against such well painted models!
Both of you deserve a lot of credit for this fantastic work!

Love them both. Cant decide. Would it be awful to vote against something because of a grammatical error? I mean, this is a painting contest not a spelling bee. lol
-
This one was a very difficult decision- Both superb entries! :-*
-
I was thinking the same thing, Plynkes, because the Predators look wonderful - but then so does the Lord of the Rings scene. Two great entries here.
-
Thanks for the comments guys. I was worried they wouldn't be good enough for the film round!

Pre-watershed and all that! ;) I didn't think it appropriate to use fowl language in case I got minus points for being a potty mouth! :D

fowl language
Hehehehe :D
-
Hehehehe :D
I'm going to try and get away with blaming that on iPhone spell-check. Honest ;)
-
Wasn't talking about the efforts to avoid the censor (which are entirely unnecessary anyway, you can say fuck or bugger or cuntflaps as much as you like on the LAF, providing you don't use such words to abuse other people :)). If Hammers was in charge of the LPL you would probably get extra points for swearing.
There is something else.
Still haven't decided which to vote for, though. Not because of the above, just because I really like them both. A lot.
-
I've said it before, I'll say it again.
...
Always vote for Tolkien!
-
No fair, both great pieces, great slices of sci-fi and fantasy, (personal favourite topics too) but the predator scene wins my vote today.
-
Tough luck Arcturus! Better luck next year bud!
-
Yeah, Trolls vs Predators - i had to lose this match. lol
Congrats to your win and final placement.
