Almost didn't notice the little dude on top of the sand worm... o_o

Very nice! Who makes the worm?
-
Tomsche, it's too small!! lol
Two great entries! Love the Army of Darkness, Pil.

Great entry Tomsche, I really like your paint-job on the D&D Purple Worm, very nice and I didn't see the little guy at first either!
-
For some reasons I just love this background painting in your pic, Tomsche.
-
Good luck Pil with an excellent finale!

Two great entries! Pil you're my kind of weirdo with your love for the Evil Dead films! lol
-
I agree with Doomhippie. Nice background painting Tomsche. Hopefully we don't add painting backgrounds as a theme as that wouldn't work for me. :)

Dune, my fav film :D :D, my wife hates it :-[

Thanks, it ties in very nicely with the undead army I'm painting. The Army Of Darkness figures are official Army Of Darkness figures by Leading Edge Games. They are no longer available but picked up two (I think) blisters years ago on Spiel. At some point I didn't expect to ever paint them but then this bonus round came along and gave me a perfect opportunity!
All the other skeletons are also newly painted and are a varied mix of old Citadel (80s pre-slotta and slotta models), some Ral Partha, some Denizen, some Grenadier and also an Alternative Armies model, an Essex miniature and one model that I can't identify. More pictures will follow later 8)

2 great entries, tough to pick between them

Like Pil said, it`s the wotc DnD prepaint `Giant Purple Worm`, you can score them still on eBay and the likes
-
Death to the hated Harkonnen scum!!
-
Bloody nice lot there Pil! Looking forward to some close-ups of the "real" Evil Dead figs.

Good game Pil, congratulations on a well deserved win!
I would wish you good luck in your next match, but but but but...
we`re all done, we did it, made it, and now are lost on sundays...
Noooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!
-
Thanks for an excellent Match Tomsche! Like I said I really like your entry as well 8) It's weird to paint without deadlines again but it does make taking your time for a model easier! I painted an undead dragon recently which I had planned for round 7 or 8 and without the pressure I could spend more time thinking about it's colour scheme. Pictures will follow later of course 8)

Bwaaah., the deadline issue is solved for me with the `Regiment a Month` thingie that we started on the bloggies lol
Though it`s gonna be more `a regiment in a week` for me though for May, I started like ermmm... in about 15 minutes o_o

Whats the Dune infantry minis you use?
-
I don't think Tomsche is active on this forum anymore.
You might try sending him a PM and hope its forwared to his email, but for Dune infantry, check out theposts in the Future Wars board from Akula. He had his own figures sculpted and did sell some (dunno if he still has any on offer, though)

Thanks :)
