The only god , the Great Cthulhu, wants see us doing something for him, painting some teams and praising the Old Ones!!!
The final round of the first season of the league (round 10) will be a bonus one.
- paint a cthulhu-related team of the humans and receive 10 bonus points!
- paint a monster team and receive 20 points!
- paint a monster team lead by Cthulhu (model sculpted by Bob Murch) himself and receive 30 points!
The monsters should be really Cthulhu ones, see the RAFM/Grenadier Call of Cthulhu range.
And there is only one model of Great Cthulhu that would get bonus points for you, the only true lead Cthulhu sculpted by Bob Murch:

So... Anyone in the UK tell me where I can get hold of these babies in a hurry??

Hi,
Sprit Games in Burton on Trent, have the RAFM Cthulhu range.
http://www.spiritgames.co.uk
I have always found them great to deal with, and the shipping outside UK is very fast as well

Thanks.
I'm off to SELWG tomorrow. EM4 carry the ex-Grenadier Dunwich Detectives range - does this qualify as Cthulhu? (You can see how much I know about this genre! )
If so, I'll pick a few up and get painting!

OMG!! :lipps:

yes!

Okay - that's it then. I know where to get some rather tasty figures... :)
Unfortunately though, I've just found out that the SELWG show is cancelled - for anyone that was going along... Asbestos in the roof or something.
I'll post a note in another thread, just in case anyone else in the London area was planning on going along and hadn't noticed that it has been cancelled.
What a pity - it's usually a great show.

Gawd! Have you seen the price tag on the Bob Murch Cthulu!?!
Prof - for the human Cthulu teams, is it allowed to use other figures instead of RAFM? (eg. Blue Moon or Copplestone?)
-
I think also some Pulp Figures von Bob Murch and some of the Artizan Designs Thrilling Tales should work as Human Investigators.

yes, I do own that model

Actually RAFM would be the best choice but yes, whatever, Copplestone, Artizan, Pulp figures etc. but they should look like an investigator team (or anything like this). No big game hunters or Tibetan riders with the label "Chtuhlu riders", please

Great News !
I have that model. I can make extra points. Just have to find it in my basement....deep below the lead mountain.
Cheers

I bought it way back, when it first came out - around 1991 - and it cost me £30 then - so if you buy it direct from Canada, it's probably the same price, or cheaper - and well worth it.
It is slumbering in my lead mountain - assembled, primed , base coated and washed - just ready for the finishing touches..... like it has been for the last 7 years......
Oh the shame of unfinished projects.........
-
AAaaarrrghh....I sold this painted Cthulu on Ebay last year.... :freak:
Prof. Witchheimer...I hate you... :x
Now I must to refind and repaint this "mini".
Let's go !!!

Yes. £35. Not interested.

This is as close as I'm going to able to get then! I have some investigators I got as a job-lot that I still haven't painted. I'll see if I can find them in the mountain....

I have the Great One, but I am short of Cthonians! I have some appropiate Minis from Reaper, though. Would that be OK, too?
:?: :?:

what ones?
-
These ones:

...plus an old Grenadier 'Floating-Two-Headed-Slime' from the Nightmares range and the brilliant old Beholder from the same manufacturer.
Edit: Don't know why the picture is not shown. The link works, though.

looks great, tentacles  , they would go!

Effing RAFM cancelled my order for Chtonians and Servitors! Now I don't know if I can get monsters in time. Who carries RAFM in Europe and do they do express mail?

Ah! Battlefield DOES have some COC. I checked the wrong listing.

Spirit games carry the complete Cthulhu range:
http://www.spiritgames.co.uk/
I have ordered from them before and usually get the stuff in between 3 and 5 working days.
-
They have a lousy online shop though. I will try Berlin first.
