Great mini, you did a good job. Which maker is it?

It's Privateer - http://privateerpress.com/warmachine/gallery/mercenaries/solos/anastasia-di-bray

I was looking at this figure recently for VSF purposes, as Anna Baptiste, a French Assassinatrix. Nice paintjob, I like the red leather; it really is a fine figure, like many of the Privateer minis. But hellish expensive, I always thought (which is why I've never bought any).

Right you are Red Orc, they are beautiful pieces & expensive.  I'm lucky that my sons enjoy warmachine so they pick up the tab buying them and I get to paint and play with them. A really good deal all the way around for me.

lol ah yes, of course your sons with their 'Menoth' and 'Khador' armies that we know are really forces of the Archbishop of Cordoba, and troops of the Imperial Russian Army, respectively (at least, when they turn up on Atlantis they are).  ;)

Every time I come back to this thread I feel my resolve cracking just a little more. Must get lovely Warmachine minis... It's not going to help that I'm gaming on Thursday at my local store and a whole bunch of them will be about a metre away from me...

Once agin your deductions are spot on.  The powers of Imperialism and Religous fever shall soon again meet on the fields of battle.

As to that little voice in your head saying "buy the pretty lead toys.. :-*buy the pretty lead toys... :-*." It takes a stout heart to ignore the calling of the "lead!"
minions. lol lol

Well, I managed to resist today.  That's probably no bad thing as I have more than 100 minis in my painting pile at the moment. I'm also saving my pennies for the GASLIGHT compendium coming very soon. But I'm weak and I will crack sooner or later ...probably sooner. I probably won't buy so much as GASLIGHT will knock a hole in my budget. On the other hand it'll probably also give me 50 new ideas for things to spend money on!
