Post by: KeyanSark on October 23, 2007, 08:50:12 AM
Pinnacle has launched finally their RPG version of Savage Worlds based in the adventures of Solomon Kane.

Although we are talking about an RPG, there are some very inspiring pictures in their gallery, here

...fight with conviction...
Against the powers of magic...
...enduring the elements...
...confront creatures natural...
...and supernatural...
...and resist temptation
...and protect the innocent...

Solomon Kane, what a frightful old prig that man is. :-)

I think this is the reason why Kane was not so popular as Conan

Exactly.

Conan is more like

...fight with no conviction, just for the hell of it...
With the powers of magic...
...battle the elements...
...shag creatures natural...
...and have a drink with those supernatural...
...and dive stright into temptation
...and shoot the dogs of the innocent...

Much a man of my own ilk and timbre.

Lets give Solomon his due. He's a man of his times and a sight more interesting that most of his contemporaries. I have a couple of volumes on my shelf that I should reaquaint myself with.
