Hi,
I received the Frontline "African Princess" today, so I thought I'd post a couple of raw photos for anyone interested...the squares are 1", as you can tell from the ruler in the first photo...

Oh, wow, it does look rather good. Thanks for posting this, d(sqrt(-1)). Definitely on my to-buy list.

Thanks for posting up the pics of it.

They had trouble with email a few weeks ago - I rang them in the end, placed order on 14th, arrived today, so allow time for the order to be fulfilled. I notice that their website has changed - it used to be a form fill mail page, now it uses mailto:, so that may be more reliable. Also I think they may be busy for a few wargame shows at the moment.

No bubbles that I've noticed, very clean casting. 25/28mm scale. I also bought the thatched bungalow, some mealie bag walls and the African village set.
I'm not quite sure where to put the side panels and canopy, over the boiler or further forward?

Very smart. I have Frontline's sampan and a few terrain pieces. They do good work.

Bit odd that one because it looks like they've decided where the boiler goes but it's different from the "African Queen";

Might be worth giving them a ring or sending them an email, about assembling it. If you do get an answer elsewhere let us know :)
