Title: 1/48th Model T Ford Ambulances
Post by: elysium64 on June 05, 2011, 02:52:07 AM
Just seen these in the latest Hannants (Aircraft Model Shop) news letter. I plan on getting some thought they would be great for most forces in the BoB

This could indeed be of some use. The problem would be finding suitable driver figures though. Any suggestions anyone ?

The burnt-out ambulance in the background of the first pic is interesting.  One doesn't realize how much of these early Model Ts was made of wood!

Why not look at Company B? They've had ambulances for years and they are 1/56 scale, more appropriate for 28mm and they've got drivers.

1/48 scale will be oversized for 28mm scale.

Grand Manner has some vehicles with drivers, too. I buyed an ambulance some years ago in Salute and they are nice.
