Look like paintball guns to me & at a guess that's what they are.

Do you really think your paintballs have any chance against my lasers?

When I saw these figs I just had to show them off, I guess I should have put them in the open forum...  In any case, when I saw them they took me back to my paintball days, like this:

This is just another way to keep me in the basement, hunched over my miniatures when I should be outside getting some excercise! When my buddies call and say "lets get out and play some paintball", I can reply, "Sure, come over, I'll bring the soda and chips for some miniature gaming action!"...

LEt's hope the real future wars are done with paintball guns... Last news from Iran and Mr. Bush make me sweat again, as I did back in the 80s...

But this is offtopic, and sorry for that...

until today never heard anything about paintball,  thought that's a sort of sci-fi-men-in-black-like-weapon  :)

I played paintball a couple of times some years ago... Although you wear some kind of protection, those ball really hurt when they hit you... I remember myself crawling in the dirt trying not to be hit in the head by the "enemy" who was entrenched... and realising a little how bad must be the *REAL* thing

Played Paintball a couple of times.

After a VERY close call, I learned to wear a protective cup as I caught a shot at less than 5 ft, right on the inside of my thigh.

It could have been much worse.  :freak:

I used to always wear a couple of layers of clothes. Luckily (knock on wood) I never did take any serious shots, but I had many friends who had and so I learned from their misfortune.

Funny thing is that now I have seen those miniatures I have a burning desire to go out and play paintball! I hope this desire passes soon so that I can keep my efforts for my miniatures ;)

Sorry for taking this forum post so off topic!

I know this is close to threadomancy, but I just go this wicked idea:

You do a moderated game for a couple of friends, where they are playing a team of paintballers each. Capture the flag or something.

The paintball-field is situated on an old abandoned cemetery (a few headstones are scattered among the barricades, and a main tower/stronghold is buildt on top of a mausoleum/crypt...?)

The tough question here is: Can you stop a zombie with at paintball gun? ;-)

In Romero's Land Of The Dead one of the attractions in the undercity is shooting paintball shots at zombies. There is a sign next to it saying "No headshots". Depending on the game type fought I'd say a paintball has a low strength but it just might work... ;)

Yeah, I'd probably allow for the paintball to knock over the Z, but not kill it - the players would have to let their teams use improvised weaponry to actually kill of the critters....
