Thanks Helen, Yes the Technicals are FOA. I may get their T55 for the Muj to round it out.

The BMP1 is Sloppy Jalopy :)

Where did the Afghans get that 60s wallpaper to cover their APC? Love it! All our schoolbooks looked like that when I was a kid, as the teachers made us cover them to keep them nice (so they could give them to next year's kids), and we all used paper like that!

Also, our hymn books looked like that, but that was a design actually printed on the cover!

Crazy.

 Ah. Brings me back to. The wall paper in out sauna shower stall looked something similar. My math book had a pattern of large brown daisies on a pink background. I suspect it was clad that way so you would never have an excuse for "not finding it". Its garishness was like a beacon.

I realy like the effect on the cars windows, gives them a real "in use" touch.
The Mongrel Mujahideen are realy amazing figs.

Nice work - love the truck! Nothing says insurgency like a Toyota! :)

One can almost smell the Afghan Opium when looking at that camo scheme

And there was me thinking Lowtardog had consumed questionable substances before painting that AFV!

Love those pick-up trucks, though.

That's one of the reasons I painted a 15mm "AK47 Republic" guerilla army. Lots of pick-ups, with AA guns, RRs, mortars, you name it welded on.

Totally useless as a fighting force, but great fun  :)
