I could - most of them you can just google, though, and I don't want to put too much effort into this if it is not going to be a sticky - the work will just disappear if not.  lol

Vampifan did a master-top-notch-bee-knees review on "Dadi&Piombo" (Dices and lead) magazine about all zombies he owns. Maybe if you ask him politely, he could scan the article and post here. (I got the magazine [free] from him with personal note hand writted on it !!!  :D 8) :-*)

May he survives all incoming zed outbreak !

As a side note, links could be a great addition or at least measurement (some 28mm are more 32mm-ish)

Plenty of zed blogs here on LAF bud ;) Argonor wants companies that stock zombies rather than reviews (at the moment at least...).

GW stock more than just the fantasy plastic zombies.  They also have the Necromunda Plagues Zombie (http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?prodId=prod1120125&_requestid=616365) metals and related Scavvy Ghouls (http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?prodId=prod1120123).  I quite like both of those sets of figures.

On an even more picky note, Mega Miniatures also stock sci-fi zombies late of Star Mogul (http://freeboardgamesnow.com/sciencefictionmephalian.aspx) that are easily missed while browsing.

Good idea for a sticky :)

Yes but to know WHAT to buy, you need to SEE how tall they are (and mix with your survivors).

And they already have 28 mm - now added with link. 15/18 will follow when released, I think.

Quite a list we're getting together here  :)

I shall try to get some time to add links to the entire list, soonish...

I know that it's been a while since the last post, but I couldn't find the Heresy (http://www.heresyminiatures.com/shop/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1_11_26) (+ former Eolith) Zombies on the list. While strictly speaking their fantasy, most are easy enough to convert.

Also Enigma has/ had a Zombie horde (now distributed/ owned/ whatever by cmon (http://www.coolminiornot.com/shop/miniatures/enigma-miniatures/massive-darkness-1/zombie-horde.html))+ some seperate Zombie heads (http://www.coolminiornot.com/shop/miniatures/enigma-miniatures/blacksmith/zombie-heads.html). Again fantasy minis, but shouldn't be too hard to convert them into something modernish/ post apoc, same goes for some of the Otherworld (http://otherworldminiatures.co.uk/shop/product-category/undead/) Zombies.

Well, I'm not too keen on the nurses faces.
furthermore, several of the scrubs and patients look a lot like studio miniatures to me.
Title: Re: Zombie manufacturers
Post by: Rovanite on April 24, 2012, 03:28:52 PM
Hey there :)

Cheers for the link Brummie! I thought I would join up here too and keep in contact with what's happening!

@zizi66 - Hey, sorry to hear you are not too keen on the figures. The nurses are loosly based on those from "Silent Hill", so they have decaying bandages around their faces. I knew when I made these they may not be to everyone's taste, so therefore planned to bring out more nurses in the future who had "normal" zombie heads. They were originally made to go with another figure I made (Executioner steve), but it developed into a full "Hospital" range :)

As for the patients, I tried to give each figure a unique twist. Those from Studio Miniatures pretty much are just standing there, whereas I have tried to give mine something different, like being pregnant, having a drip, broken leg and broken arm. The scubs are probably the most difficult to do as every miniature wearing scrubs is going to look similar, so not too much variety with them, but they are still different, with name tags and "wear and tear" on their clothes (unlike studios who are pretty intact).

Thank you for your input, any kind of input is appreciated as it'll help me improve for future releases.

Hi A_Train, we are selling in packs of 4 to help reduce the price of the individual figure. Therefore rather paying the usual £3 to £4 per figure, our price works out at about £2.37 per figure, (So £9.50 per pack).

The bases shown in photos are sold separately and will be brought out at a later day (due to production etc). So figures come with the usual plain 25mm bases.

Hi All, Covert Intervention Games (CIG for short), is the new owner of the Force20 line of 20mm Minis and has already started to add to the collection of Zombies and Hunters as well.
Our Website: https://www.covertintervention.com/ (https://www.covertintervention.com/)

You can find our announcement regarding Force20 here: https://www.covertintervention.com/blogs/news/covert-intervention-games-now-own-the-force20-brand-and-ranges (https://www.covertintervention.com/blogs/news/covert-intervention-games-now-own-the-force20-brand-and-ranges)

Several of the Lead Adventure Forum members who have ordered from us recommended we register on your site and let you know we are here. :) (Special thanks to Balin!).
After taking a look around we can see you all are a great bunch and we love to see the great threads covering the exciting hobby here!

CIG is also developing new modern pulps and modern combat games as well to pair with our line of 20mm miniatures and models. https://www.covertintervention.com/blogs/news/whats-coming-in-2017 (https://www.covertintervention.com/blogs/news/whats-coming-in-2017) As always you can use our miniatures for whatever you wish.  :)
