Title: WWI Italian front test figures (8 July update)
Post by: abu iskander on July 03, 2011, 11:23:34 PM
Recently picked up some of these and their A-H opponents by Scarab.  A bit different style of sculpt than I usually prefer but I think it works well here.  For some reason, they remind me in a way of the Foundry pirates.  Lots of character in the range from what I've seen so far.

In my opinion that's THE problem with SCARAB minis  :'(
Sad as their ranges are very originals....

Thanks, and I agree that there are some disproportional bits and some exaggerated kit across the range. It was what I alluded to wrt these being a bit different than my usual stylistic preferences.  I have just chosen to accept this fact as the models make up for it in character and otherwise expressive gestures, faces, etc. To each his own of course, and they are fun to paint. Cheers.
