Title: Woodbine Jigsaw puzzle, well Krupp 75mm actually
Post by: valleyboy on July 04, 2011, 11:00:41 AM
Ladies and gents I'd be grateful for your help please
I have a 10 piece jigsaw puzzle that I don't seem to be able to fit together o_o
I've had a search on the forum and can't find any previous questions re this

Some time ago I bought a Woodbine WW1 Krupp artillery piece and Turkish gunners. The latter are painted but for the life of me I cannot put this piece together or even find a picture that I can somehow copy. Does anyone have any bright ideas or a completed model with pictures from various angles
Many thanks
Please excuse my stupidity

If you photograph the parts I'll help you assemble the model piece by piece.

I've managed to piece a few things together by looking at a few pictures in WI 283 the Galipoli edition along with some pictures of the artillery that I took at Salute in anticipation of the problem!

I still have a few puzzles with 2 pieces though

The biggest problem was I was trying to fit the gun shield on back to front >:( but once I realised that its been a little easier

These are the pieces and how I think they might now fit together

The u shaped pieces fit on the front from looking at the WI pictures and realise that the crew are sitting on a seat

I'm stilll puzzled by 2 pieces though , there is a hole at the left hand side back of the barrel or breech so I've  bluetacked the round bit in there but I'm not sure if that is correct but am still puzzled by where to put the remaining piece lying down in this last picture  o_o

Hopefully I've got it right so far

I don’t know how to explain it in English but the last piece look like the device that the crew use to aim the gun (range finder?). It should be attach to the end of the breech… At least that’s what I can make of the picture you provide.

EDIT; This piece?
