I really like this ruleset. I hope I'll start a campaign soon!

I'm going to have to try these rules, every AAR I've read sounds fun. Thanks for posting, great looking game.

Thinking about doing this as generic sci-fi in 1/35th scale. Wish they had a generic open list, but for now I'll pick and choose. Looks like there is alot of room to expand!

Hi There,
At the moment I am drafting a Victorian/Science Fantasy/Steampunk version called 'In Her Majesy's Name'. However, I could put some work into a generic sci-fi version if enough people wanted it.
What sort of things would you want in it?
Cheers,
Craig.

I would have pretty much traveller style armies, hard sci fi. Backwater planet militias, elite marine power armour units, planetary defense units, corrupt corporate security, mixed mercenary units.
No demons, but gigeresque aliens xenomorphs, clumsy and yet overpowering Ork like aliens and their goblin minions.
You've pretty much got all of that now, just need to pick and place them!

Nice report and the figures look great. I've been looking for a generic set of rule that would allow me to field my old 40k mini's on a small scale, thanks.

Hi Guys,
Right, a generic sci-fi version has now been officially put into the workshop over on the Forge of War Yahoo Group.
What we are looking for now is suggestions for retinues to feature in the rules. Remember these are teams of 4-10 figures such as a Star Wars Stormtrooper patrol. For larger battles youa re better off using FUBAR.
In the first draft the pair of retinues used as an example in the rules will be Capt. Mal Reynolds and the crew of the Serenity versus an Alliance Security team [Ching-wao tsao duh liou mahng!].
Cheers,
Craig.

That would be perfect!
I was always fond of boarding actions in Traveller.
How about a boarding party of Marines (or pirates) in power armour (regular humans, not gene enhanced) versus a crew of pirates/mercenaries or Navy vets?
Small (and expensive) Kill team, 3-4 vs a crew of 10 or so.

Meanwhile down on the lab, Igor's new assistant, Greg, has cooked up some pointy-eared and toadfaced goodness.
Currently under review before release are retinue lists for Eldar Pirates, Craftworld Eldar, Harlequins and, this one came straight out of left field and bowled us all over, Ancient Slann!
The Eldar Pirates list actually features Renegade Zoats... yes, I said Zoats! I'm sure some of you guys have these mad sci-fi centaurs somewhere in the bottom of your bits box.
In another corner of the lab work has begun on a Hive Gangers retinue list featuring all you old Necromunda favourites from Orlocks to Scavvies. What next? Gorkamorka?

yes, I said Zoats!
Awesome!!!

OK all, the supplement is now on the blog :o
