I like this. Wish I could finish 1 mini a day, too, but I rarely have more than max. 1 hour to spend on painting each day :?

Jealous. I currently get around 10minutes daily.

That's still a max. This evening, though, I spent 1½ hours painting. Then I had no more dry brushes and had to stop.
How does one make brushes dry faster (I have 6 stiff 2/0 artificial hair brushes I use for the finer work, but I always catch up on the wet ones...)?

use kitchen towle and pull the brush through it handle first so as not to spread the bristles. To be honest though keeping them wet is better as it stops the ends splitting

Better control. I have tried small brushes with natural bristles, but I find it nigh impossible to paint small details (eyes, etc.) with those.
Natural bristles are better for painting larger areas, though (don't tend to draw 'lines' in the paint)

There are specialist brushes, 0/5...0/4, with short synthetic. They do not last long but I use them sparingly just for very fine detal. Eyes I often do with 005 technical pen. What? "Cheating" I hear you say? Oh, blow it out your wazoo...

I will have to try those brushes, at the moment I rarely paint eyes as the figures all look like Marty Feldman :o

I just purchased such a (black) pen for the same purpose. I have found it useful for the nozzle of rifles, too :wink:
