Okay, remake of a TV show; scary in and of itself. lol
I must say, my first thought on seeing the teaser was 'Turning of the Screw with gender switch?'
Does seem to have a good mood about it...
Hmm, hold the 'good' part. ;->=

Actually a book, then a very successful stage play that is still running in London's West End before becoming a TV show. And quite a scary play it was too when I last saw it.

Same here - I remember vividly the jump and squeal from those sitting near the doors when the usher came through with interval drinks... Genuinely creepy.

Let's see how it works out when it's finished.

The novella itself is highly recommended; extremely atmospheric and very unsettling, albeit in a non-visceral way (except, perhaps, for the ending!). Susan Hill is something of a latter-day acolyte of Dickens and one of the few contemporary authors who can write convincingly in the Victorian fashion. I for one am looking forward to this adaptation!

Is that Harry Potter in that trailer?
-
:o that looks awesome,i am definitely going to look for it :)
-
Yes. That is Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliff) in it.
Looks good to me.
I'm in!

One of my favourite books, rather liked the stage play, and that TV adaptation used to give me nightmares as a nipper. This trailer looks mighty fine to me!
-
This looks very promising! I didn't even recognize Harry Potter at first. :)
I'll have to pick up the book - I love Victorian ghost stories.

Fair enough. And my 'Turning of the Screw with gender switch?' ...of the protagonist vibe seems equally inaccurate.
